Small Employer Auditor Training

Prerequisite - Anyone wishing to take this course must have successfully completed the OHS Program Building for Small Employers.

This two day course is designed for employers with less than 20 full time equivalent employees. Small employers can be audited by a designated employee who successfully completes the certification process offered by the BC Food Processors Health & Safety Council.

On successful completion of this course employees will be able to conduct a COR Certification Audit for their organization.

Module 2 - Pre-audit Communication & Activities

  • Familiarization tour

  • Observation tour

Module 4 - Evaluating Data

  • Explanation of the audit instrument
  • Scoring methods
  • Forming conclusions/making recommendations
  • Writing the report
  • Conducting the exit meeting
