This 3 day course is intended for employers with 20 or more full time
equivalent employees who wish to certify a designated employee to carry out
maintenance audits their company as part of the Certificate of Recognition (COR) program.
The course will provide participants with a working knowledge of the COR
program standards, health and safety principles and the audit protocols
required to conduct a maintenance audit that complies with the BCFPHSC
audit standards. Certification is not complete until the internal auditor
completes the training and a student audit.
Maintenance audits are a requirement during years 2 and 3 of the COR audit cycle.
On successful completion of this course employees will be able to conduct a COR Certification Audit for their organization.
