All companies in WorkSafeBC subsector 7110 can benefit from the extensive occupational health and safety services offered by the BC Food Processors Health and Safety Council.

The cost is funded via a levy on all employers classified by WorkSafeBC as food processors.

There are three classes of membership in the BCFPHSC: voting, non-voting and associate members.

Voting Members

If you and your company want to take a more active role in shaping the future of the Safety Council and vote at the AGM on important issues that govern our organization then you need to become a voting member.

We are always looking for industry representation on committees and on the Board of Directors. In order to serve on a committee or stand for the board you need to be a voting member.

To become a Voting Member, simply complete and submit the confidential company voting member application.

Non-Voting Members

Non-voting members have all the privileges of membership but are unable to vote on issues pertaining to the council. We hope you will become a voting member. It is as easy as completing and submitting the voting member application form.

Association Members

Any food and beverage industry association may apply to become an associate member of the BCFPHSC. Please e-mail info@bcfphsc.com

All Members

There is no charge for becoming a member.

Your application will be verified by the Board of Directors and you will be contacted with the results.

The BCFPHSC looks forward to working more closely with you in the future.
